About Lvision
Hello family and friends! My name is Lawrence Miller founder and operator of Lvision The Photo Pro where I capture art through my lenses. Born and raised in Flint Michigan, but currently reside in Atlanta GA. I’m a USARMY vet of 8 years and father of a beautiful daughter who’s under my tutelage. The love I have for my young one, really drives me to be a better example as a man. Id like to think of my personality is closely relatable to “Batman”, very dark and mysterious but not too serious, while my photography is sophisticated and fun.
Life has a way of throwing curveballs your way. I was about 17 years old when I noticed my grandfather always capturing photos of everyone. It was a passion of his to always get the smile of someone who was around him, no matter if it was his family for friends, on his polaroids. I noticed the spark in his eye shined from a million miles away when he had his camera in his hand. Because of his health conditions, he couldn’t continue his photography……so I enthusiastically stepped in. I have always had an eye for creativity and understood the aspect of art from the history of sketching beginning as far back as a preteen, so artistically finding composition, and utilizing shadows made it easy to create stunning works of art via photography.
Time Had Passed
The memory of my grandfather will never be forgotten, so to carry on his love of snapshots, I began taking photos of myself. I was 3 years within my first contract of the USARMY when I received my first digital camera, and much like my grandfather, I fell in love with the passion of photography. As a soldier stationed at Fort Moore (formally known as Fort Benning), I would take photos of everything and everyone. This phenomenon was completely manifested by faith.
My Service
As a service member, I was ordered to move to Colorado where I took my photography in an academic direction by attending a college course for the fundamentals of the craft. Unfortunately, this was around the beginning of the pandemic that struck the world in 2019 that brought the world to a scary standstill, and of course schools were affected as well. A photography course conducted online is hard to believe right? but that was the state of the world.
Inspiring the Next Generation
I wasn’t going to let any thing stop me, I completed the course with honors, and continued to practice my art. Now after 6 plus years of consistent growth, I can truly say I’m proud of myself as a photographer, father and friend.
I feel blessed that you made the choice to come along with me on this odyssey of cultivating art.
